I wore a zip up hoody after my mastectomy. Hood kept my head warm & no issues getting anything over the head. Hope all goes smoothly for you xx

Go for anything comfy to wear that can open fully at the front just in case you are swollen and stiff post op. I just wore a surgical bra and loose cotton shirt but the weathers changing so think about loose easy to get on layers.

I wore loose trousers and button fronted top to go home, and of course, the obligatory front fastening bra following lmy recent umpectomy and subsequent reconstruction. Just be comfortable. Incidentally, I had good arm movement so a loose T might be ok for you

I wore a camisole with secret support instead of a bra and I pulled it up my body instead of over my head with a lightweight jersey cardigan over the top . Best to try to avoid stretching your arms up straight away . I had to walk to nuclear medicine and then from there to Theatre - so I would recommend comfy but supportive indoor footwear . Hope everything goes well for you . Xx

As an aside to this thread, I’ve been shopping today and Primark has a great ‘adaptive’ selection of clothes, buttons, poppers, magnetic, ftont fastening bras, open seams in all the right places, and really reasonably priced. I’m very impressed

I’m another one who wore a zip-up hoody over my compression bra, loose jeans - and crocs, which I had brought as my slippers. I had arrived in a button up blouse and proper shoes, but what I wore home was super easy. Thank goodness I had some loose jeans, as there was no way I would have been able to pull on tight ones! I hope everything runs smoothly for you.
