After surgery and radiotherapy

Hi all you lovely ladies out there,

well its been 8 months now since my lumpectomy/3 lymph node removal and 5 months since my radiotherapy finished.

have had my 4 month checkup and all seems as it should be .   Still have real tender areas around outer boob ,  surgeon said it was early days and to give everything time to settle down.

cannot believe how tired and exhausted i feel nearly all the time.  Thought this far along my energy levels would be starting to pick up but no…i could go to sleep eating my dinner … Looked on lne and i seem to be doing all the right things.  So is this yet another thing that will improve over time?

how are all of you coping with this???

Lovely to hear from you and that on the whole things are going well. 

 

It is really still early days since you finished rads.  I still get some fatigue, usually on a Wednesday because that is my early day at work or if I have not taken in enough fluid.  It is much better than it was though so just keep doing what you are doing and you will get there
