I had my lumpectomy to remove 4 lumps left breast and some lymph nodes (which have since came back clear). After having a fish test done all lumps are HER2 negative. Ductal stage 2. Now waiting on oncotype test returning.
I have had reconstructive surgery on my right breast to match the left as I had large breast. I have been told I will receive radio therapy and hormone treatment. The oncotype test will determine if I would benefit from chemo.
I will be 4 weeks post surgery this week. I just wanted to ask if it’s normal for my breast to still feel heavy and achy especially at night?
Hi , I was very tender and achy for several months after surgery .Even now ( 6 years on ) it is still very uncomfortable to have a mammogram . Good luck with your results and the rest of your treatment . Best wishes Jill x
