ladies, can anyone tell me of what effects you had, periods pattern and general wellbeing after Tamoxifen finishes. I will come to the end at end April and wonder how I will feel ???

Vez, how old are you and did you have chemo before you got put on Tam? Others in the same situation might be able to answer you soon. I can’t, not as far along the road as you are.

I finished 5 years of tamoxifen at the end of Sept. Started to feel very hormonal again and body kept trying to have periods (although I have a mirena coil that stopped my periods which neither chemo or tamoxifen did). I am 43 and definitely pre-menopausal! Never had any bad side effects on tamoxifen & neither it or chemo gave me hot flushes so I was pretty lucky really. Hope this helps

Hi, I am 41 yrs now, will be 42 when finished tam. was 36yrs when diagnosed and had chemo, then mast, then rads. Few hits flushes and periods have been irregular for years really. only disappeared for a year once I started chemo.
