amazing

hmmm…i just wanted to jot something down before i forget…you ladies amaze me with your strength and courage…facing obstacles with laughter and hopeful thinking…i realized that when one faces challenges in life they seem to become stronger and surprise people around them…keep up the strength because i feel that positive thinking is just like laughter it contagious…by the way i’m also going through secondaries and am 28 years old…some times i just feel sad especially after a cycle of chemo…some times i cry watching my beautiful 2 year old play…but…most of the time I’m busy working between cycles…

lots of hugs

izzati

Hi izzati,

I too, read and get strength from reading this forum. Life is hard and we have to find laughter where we can find it. I too, have secondarys (bones, liver) and have days where I just want to curl up and howl, but we don’t because you just don’t know what could be round the corner (meds wise) and so we live and hope.

hello izzati…I’m so sorry you’re going throught this too and at such a young age and with a little one. Hope your treatment is working well…keep in touch…and as kiwi says we live and hope. Since my own secondaries diagnosis there have been new treatments introduced. Love Belinda…x

Hi Izzati

Sorry you are here with us. I agree there are some amazing, brilliant and lovely ladies on here and they help to get through this crap and keep us all smiling and laughing and sometimes crying.

I am older than you, just turned 40, but a late starter and have a 4 year old daughter and 19 month old son, and boy, do they keep me busy, which is good, as believe me, I dont really get time to dwell on things too much. It is hard work with the little ones, but they give me such a boost and something to fight so hard for, as I have every intention of fighting all the way to be here and see them grow up. I do cry too, like you, when watching them, but as you probably do, they make u smile and laugh even at your lowest point.

It is such a cruel disease and so many young people being affected. I hope so much that your treatment is working for you.

Come back and chat as much as you can/want and hopefully we can help you along the way.

Take care and lots of love
Dawn

Hi Izzati, You go right ahead and cry, stomp your feet, laugh, smile whatever you need to do!!! We have all done it and still do it! Most of all enjoy every minute with your beautiful little one. She will help you through! Please come back and chat or rant!! This is the place for it. Funnyface

Hi Izzati

I am 44 and I do alot of what you say - crying, laughing and working ! So sorry that you have to come on this site age 28 with a little one, it is very cruel. As Dawn says I really hope that your treatment is working for you , and that things are going well for you.

Do tell us more (if you can?want to ?) about yourself and where you are with this…I don’t really feel amazing but what is good is how we can share our experiences with each other here, there are lots of really good people here,

take care

cathy
