Amoena Air Adapt Prosthesis

Hi just wondering if anyone has tried these as they are quite expensive. I do have two Nhs prosthesis one is now quite old but I managed to get a new one over a year ago .Unfortunately I think it’s a size too big so don’t really use it. Instead I use a Been A Boob which is very good. I would still like another option though. The Air Adapt appeals as I think you can adjust it to fit different bra styles. The new Nhs one just just juts of the cups  Thanks ahead for any help x.

Hi just bumping my post x

Hi I know this is an old post but interested to know if you bought the ameona prosthesis, or if anyone else reading this can give me the answer.

I had a fitting with the representative today, and although I asked for a light one, when I got home and looked at the box it is standard, which translates as heavy! Wondering if there isn’t a choice with the NHS as the lighter ones might be more expensive.
Anyone have the answer please x

Hi
I can’t answer your question about the Amoena but have you looked at boost prosthesis. I have the boost and they are so light and comfy and come in lots of different colours x

Hi,
Thanks for your response. No I haven’t looked at those but will now! x

Hi,
I have taken a look at the boost. A little concerned that it looks rigid, and there are not many specific sizes.
Any advice?
Thanks
Lynnie

I find it really comfy, very soft against skin. In terms of fitting I found a local stockist who helped me with sizing and then ordered me one ( I think on the website you can search for local stockists)
