Anastrozole - Joint pain

Hi, anyone on Anastrozole suffering with joint pain?  I’ve been taking it since May 2014 and also glucosamine for a few months to try and help the joints, but find the pain is getting increasingly worse the last few weeks, any help advise greatly appreciated x

Hi Shellymae,

 

I used to take Anastrozole and had extremely bad joint pain with it.  Would it be worth asking your onc if you can try another AI instead and see how you get on?

I’m on letrozole, i had really painful knees since starting in July, but this seems to have subsided over the last month. I was taking anti inflammatories but read that they don’t work for this.
