Hi all, been a while since I’ve been on here. I had lumpectomy last May, Rads in July and am on Anastrozole. Washing under my arms this morning I saw there were little dark specs… put my glasses on and saw that it’s underarm hair which has all fallen out! By the time I’d washed the hair away my armpits are completely bare! (Didn’t have much hair there but now there’s none).
I had a shower last night so it must have fallen out since then. Weird eh?
Anyone know if this is normal? Hair on head seems fine. Wish it would fall out of top lip area!!! (pluck pluck).

I’ve noticed I also have very little underarm hair on anastroxole and also…ha ha…a hair that always grew back on my nipple, doesn’t anymore! Hair on my head so far is even better than it was pre cancer and loving the curls…have had several compliments! Hope it continues!
Pat, I saw your name and had to say hello. Remember me from July rads? You were a bit ahead of me, I started just as you were finishing (or had finished) I started on 29 July and you were so supportive. I was advised to stop the anastrozole after about 4 months as I was suffering from continuous hot flushes/sweats and not getting any sleep. Still flushing through the night, though now only about 4 biggies a night so some improvement. So it couldnt have all been down to the anastrozole but must be the menopause (still) having come off hrt after 13 years.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi as often wonder how you are doing xx
