I’m just concerned (terrified) about my mum, since having breast cancer, liver and lung problems for a good few years now, and quite young, 35, she’s become rather cold and unsociable.
I’m sure she does’nt mean to be, i can’t begin to understand what she’s going through, but she absolutley refuses to talk about it to anyone about it.
I think it would help her alot but she seem’s offended when i try and talk it out…has any one else found this with someone they care about?
Any suggestion’s on what i could say to her?
Hi,
I am sorry to hear about your mum,she is very young so you must be too!
She is probably having a hard time dealing with everything that has happened. But its hard for you if she is reluctant to get help or talk to someone.
Would she come on here to chat? Sometimes its easier to let it all out to strangers than close family.
Why don’t you give the helpline a call just for a chat, they are experts and may have some ideas.
Bigs hugs to you,
Love
Dot
