Hi ladies, I’m sure you see so many of these posts but it’s going to make me feel better to speak to people so here goes!
I’m 37 and I’d actually been having pains in my left breast and sometimes armpit for the last month and had started taking evening primrose oil to see how it went. To be honest sometimes I wonder if it’s muscular, sometimes my chest hurts when I move my head and I had some nasty pulled muscles when I was on maternity leave 6 months ago from lifting the baby!
Anyway wasn’t overly worried although was bothering me a little.
Onto yesterday. Was doing a quick check and put my arms in the air and saw a small dent underneath the OTHER breast. So now obviously I’m panicking about that one.
I have called my GP couldn’t get an appointment so they sent me to the duty nurse instead. She could see the dent and had a good feel of my boob and checked for my lymph nodes. Couldn’t feel any lumps or swollen nodes but they have referred me on the fast track anyway, so as normal 2 week wait.
I’ve also panicked enough to book a private appointment for Wednesday evening to have all the tests there and then. £550 which is so much but I think my partner is struggling with it more than me and he wants to pay.
Have called in sick from work today and to be honest I might end up staying off until I know what I’m dealing with Wednesday
Have noticed there’s not many stories or dents not being cancer but I also understand that once people get the all clear they tend to not update so if anyone has any positive stories would love to hear 
I half wonder if it’s a stretch mark as with my first baby (17 years ago!) I had horrendous stretch marks on my boob and they’ve all faded to white now but I do have them all over the place so it’s possible it’s always been there. Who knows
