Has anyone experienced this?
I’ve got one more fec left after having 4 x TC & 3 x fec. I’ve been alot more poorly on fec than I was on TC & now every time I think of going in for treatment I feel nauseous. I have never had any issues with medical procedures & not needle phobic but cannot bear the thought of seeing any more needles, drips, red devil syringes or the feeling of tiredness that comes with the anti-emetic.
Any tips would be gratefully received!

Ask your GP or oncologist for some Lorazepam which is commonly prescribed for anticipatory anxiety and nausea with chemo. Alternatively or additionally you could try guided relaxation/mindfulness (available online), yoga, reflexology or even just a walk in the sunshine can help. Chemo messes with your moods in a way you don’t quite realise until you have finished. Only one to go, well done! You have done brilliantly.
Thanks Ms Merton!
I do have some lorazepam but my problem is more to do with everyday life now, like when I just think about treatment I’m nauseous. On the day I’d understand it but this is affecting everyday life.
Maybe I’m going mad… ?

I think the last one will be the toughest tbh. Plus I hate the way the anti sickness drugs make me feel. Ugh!
But onwards & upwards I go! I’m just going to lock myself away for a week & then emerge like a butterfly ?
I’d love hypnotherapy if it was free. That would be perfect.
Thank you for your good wishes tho Ms Merton xxx
