1 year and 9 months ago I found a lump, was referred to hospital had scan and biopsy, they had concerns it was cancer but turned out to be a benign lump beginning with F. Had operation and had it removed because I was freaking out with anxiety. I’ve now found a new lump, same breast different area and for three days now I’ve not been able to get out of bed as my anxiety has rocketed. I will calls docs tomorrow.
Hi Susie, You probably had a Fibrodenema removed and it’s likely this is what you have again, they are very common and its not unusual to have more than one. As you will know they are harmless but I understand your anxiety over it, I’m sorry it has ruined your weekend and hope you can get some reassurance from your GP tomorrow ? Xx Jo
Yes that’s what I had. I am hoping the GP will refer me to breast clinic for a scan again. The only reassurance I have is that I was scanned less than 2 years ago and no cancer found, but this lump us scarring me so much
I have been referred back to breast clinic and they called and have booked me in for an appointment next week on Tuesday. The GP said she wasn’t concerned but to be fair she doesn’t know anything as all she can do is feel
Yes I will do. My anxiety is still on an all time high but this forum has calmed me down so thank you to all community champs and nurses xx
