I’m feeling really anxious today, not quite sure why. I was diagnosed on 13th March and was originally given a treatment plan of lumpectomy and SNB, followed by radiotherapy and hormone treatment. At my pre op my iron level were too low so I was put on iron tablets, started on tamoxifen and a follow up appointment arranged after a blood test. My follow up appointment is today so hopefully they’ll be able to move forward with surgery. I did phone up to check my blood results and was told all was ok.

Sorry to hear you are feeling anxious today. What an emotional rollercoaster this all is! Hopefully today you will get a date for surgery so you will feel like treatment is really getting underway- especially if they have said your bloods are ok. I’ve found the waiting for treatment to start is awful and just want to get it out!
