Waited all day and they still haven’t called! 
I’ve rang them a couple times and was told they left a message for the doctor but not heard anything. Very frustrating! And so anxious to find out the news. Hoping maybe it means it’s not that urgent… 
Fingers crossed they call me soon!
Finally got the call and happy to report that it’s confirmed as a classic fibroadenoma! 
I will need to go back in 6 months to check if it’s grown and if it has then they may biopsy again and remove it. However they expect it to shrink and go away eventually. I did ask about getting it removed anyway as I’m a bit concerned about getting one at my age, but they advised against it as it is likely to be unnecessary and they still consider it ‘normal’ at my age. I need to think about it but I think it seems reasonable to at least initially wait and see for 6 months (appreciate any other points of view here). Overall though I’m hugely relieved.

Awh I am absolutely over the moon that you’ve had those results today! 
I’m glad they are keeping an eye and will be checking again in 6 months time, but if you notice any changes or are still feeling anxious about leaving the lump there maybe speak again with your GP?
Just because they’ve told you it’s benign doesn’t undo all the worry and stress you’ve gone through over the last few weeks. Just be kind to yourself and maybe do something lovely on the weekend

I got a call yesterday with an appointment to get my mri results - next Weds.

Hi guys, just wanted to send an update, I’ve just had my phone call appointment and it was all good news they said it’s a fibroadenoma and to just monitor
But just wanted to say thank you all so much for keeping me sane whilst waiting for these results
@mandyo I really hope the MRI results show there is nothing else for you! And I’m sending you lots of strength through your journey
That’s great news!! So happy to hear. I hope you are also able to have some down-time to look after yourself this weekend after a stressful waiting period.

I got my MRI results, confirmed just the one small lump (1.5cm), everything else is clear. I’ve got my first appointment at the Royal Marsden on Monday to meet new consultant.
