Hi Jill I can’t see when you sent this post so you prob packed your bag I took w we you’re a bit of stuff with me as I’m trying cold capping and it makes your day longer which I found okay by the way helped with my menopause flushes I did not find it painful I took a refillable water bottle a word search a reading book some colouring stuff and some snacks to keep me entertained my chemo day went fine no concerns the next day was okay but woke at 4 in the morning in agony with bone pain everywhere was horrendous phoned triage line they gave me morphine said it’s to do with the chemo the morphine made me vomit even with anti sickness meds I managed with regular paracetomol and yesterday it went not had much else had a bit of an itchy rash on the top of my hands and felt tired sometimes let me know how you get off the nurses were lovely to me had lots of support my mum has been poorly and was end of life on the day of my chemo she actually passed 5 minutes after my treatment the support I’ve had from then is amazing and they were finishing duty but stayed longer made me tea etc xxx
