any one with bowel cancer secondary

One of my friend that I met at st lukes cancer unit has been diagnosed with bowel cancer as secondary s. I have never heard of breast cancer going to the bowel. Could she have miss heard what she was being told . has anyone heard of this

I had invasive ductal ca in2005 and I have had secondary spread to the brain, lung and bone. I sound like a wreck but I’m not. I now have bowel cancer and we are waiting to verify whether it is primary or secondary.
