Hiya, I posted a longer post earlier but I think I’ll try and break down the questions to see if I can find anyone out there with similar experiences to me.
So, has anyone been on zoladex for longer than five years?
I stopped last month after being on it for near enough a decade. I’ve only recently put two and two together that a lot of the unpleasant symptoms (anxiety, fatigue, low mood, low libido) I’ve been feeling are probably due to the menopausal state the drugs have kept me in! (I’m 42 now, 32 when I was diagnosed)
I’d love to hear some stories from people whose mood etc improved after they came off zoladex. I’m still on tamoxifen and will discuss coming off that with my oncologist soon as well…
