Anyone else with mixed types?

My report came back that I’ve got mainly invasive tubular, with a small amount (10%) of invasive lobular, DCIS and LCIS.  Anyone else had this much difference or is it quite a normal finding? Is it problematic if there are mixed types? It’s hard to find information on this, would appreciate anyone else with mixed report helping me out!

Hi Shoana, I didn’t have mixed but did have Tubular which is a good diagnosis if ever there can be with this! It’s generally a low grade slow grower, have they given you an over all grade? I saw your other question about  seeing an oncologist and I only saw mine once to discuss my treatment plan initially but this was after my op so you should get an appointment though for this Xx

I had 14 mm IDC plus a small area of DCIS.  I also had mixed grade1/2.   Surgeon said this was normal.    Your BCN should be able to talk you through your pathology report but if not the helpline here is really good.  I rang them with a couple of things I didn’t understand on my report and the nice person I spoke to clarified it for me.  Take care x

Thanks everyone. I have not seen an oncologist and I have not got any appointments other than radiotherapy now. I’m a little worried about this. I’m going to go and talk to my GP about my overall experience. I also had borderline HER2+ which I’m still waiting on results for. I think I’m seeing other people on here who seem to be having more screening and consultations than I have had and I’m wondering about the postcode lottery !!
