Anyone experiencing so many side effects with sbc and osteoarthritis

Hi ladies

Where do i start, i have sbc of the bones … But also have mu!ti degenerative spine osteoarthritis also in various other joints including knees, shoulders and hands. Just started back on my meds after a week break due to a cough, ambemiciclib, fulvestrant and denosumab.
Second day in and my legs feel extremely heavy, achy, (small swelling around knee joint) shooting pains in fingers( swollen joints) just feel like crap, no energy let alone appetite( just dont feel hungry)
Have eaten tonight and am drinking plenty of fluids.
Any help or perhaps someone is the same as me
Would be much appreciated

Wendy

Dear purple rose,

So sorry to read your not feeling good, thinking of you, I’m sorry but I can’t really help many time I felt very under the weather was when I was taking Lexatrol Which made me very stiff and uncomfortable. I think the chat with your breast cancer nurse would be the way forward. Sometimes just changing the brand of drugs helps.

Hopefully someone else will come onto the site quite quickly with a bit more information than I can offer, but I would just like to wish you health and happiness going forward.

Hopefully a better weekend for you with lots of love Tili :rainbow::pray::rainbow::pray:

Sorry to hear you are struggling with conditions and side effects.
You don’t mention what pain management you have….worked out with your team.
My situation is a little different - mets to much of my skeleton from shoulders to pelvis and included pathological fractures to spine, ribs, collar bone, pelvis. I was non/minimal weight bearing for 6 weeks.
Cancer meds - Fulvestrant (ER+), Denusomab (half dose) plus calcium and Vit D, Ribiciclib.
I had radiotherapy x4 for pain management plus medications plus meds - trial and error until we (Oncology, pain specialist and palliative care team) found a combination that worked about 3 months from diagnosis.
Now on OxyContin slow release and immediate if I need it, paracetamol, amatryptaline, occasional ibuprofen (kidney issues). Tried Tramadol, pregabalin, lidocaine patches (useful for some areas but not others).
Gentle exercise - pool walking, chair yoga / tai chi until you can tolerate more, walking building it up 5 minutes a time. On the whole some exercise does seem to help- physically and psychologically.
Hope you can get some relief soon.

I also have had antiemetics for sickness, taken half an hour before meals - little/often. Take your meds after food and in the evening might help too.
