If there’s any ladies from Sheffield who have had the diep flap (following mastectomy) and it has been successful (or not) can you tell me please? After much deliberating (I have wide area of dcis)about what reconstruction to have (if any) following mastectomy (having just got my head round that!)- I have decided on the diep.
I have found out there are only two surgeons in sheffield that do this procedure. If there’s anyone with success stories or otherwise - they will be much appreciated in my long quest to make the correct decision. Thank you very much! x dawn
