anyone had any luck with Ramipril?

Hi
I was wondering if anyone had any experience of Ramilril? My heart suffered under herceptain - but herceptain was withdrawn due to progression in liver mets and I have been approved on nhs for latapanib ( spelling?) however a further echo revealed that my heart function had gone down even further - 43% so i cant have that either - have been put on Ramipril to see if it helps heart? anyone any thoughts or exerience of this? Thanks , jayne

I take Ramipril for the treatment of high blood pressure and certainly works for that condition. I think it is quite a high-tec drug so I hope it works for you.

Best wishes,

I had been on Herceptin nearly 3 years when my heart function dropped to 44, had a heart mri which showed no permanent damage, that was Feb/Mar this year. My Herceptin was stopped and I started on Ramipril. Started Herceptin again in Aug. and my echos have shown heart function at 62/63. It is a good drug and also good for diabetics.

Thanks Alex and Pipkins - hoping i have good results on this , jayne
