loads of us n Somerset…come and join in! I used to live near Blandford and still frequent there to see friends so you can always contact me!
Hello Lostinfrance
Thanks for your message.
That would be great to be in contact with you guys in Somerset. I was diagnosed with bc on 28 February and had WLE/SLNB on Tuesday this week. Been having a bit of a rough time since home, severe pain under arm, constant crying and then last night severe upset tummy keeping me up for several hours. I am hoping to feel much improved over the weekend.
Been told will need chemo and then rads once clear margins confirmed in two weeks time, fingers crossed. Oestrogen negative and also HER2 negative so no need for tamoxifen or herceptin.
Look forward to hearing back from some of you in Somerset.
Love & hugs

Hello Tracy
Sorry to hear that you are suffering a bit. I have a bit of an inflamed wound at the moment, just waiting to hear from the breast cancer nurse. Felt a bit off yesterday and had temperature. As you know I am not in your area, but wish I was as there seems to be no one on here who is in my area (Nottingham). Hope you recover and get well soon,

Hi, I’m new to the forum and to the area. I live just south of Gillingham and am still trying to get my bearings. I was diagnosed in the middle of the process of moving house, so I’m waiting to be referred for radiotherapy.
Hi Minimix,
I’m in Poole, pretty close to you and have had surgery, chemo and rads. Finished active treatment in April last year and learning to live again. It seems like a long old process but it does get easier: hang in there!!! Happy to talk if you need someone to chat to, best wishes Shelly
