I was dx in August this year and had lumpectomy 3 wks later with SNB. Was treated at Salisbury District and will be having rads soon as Southampton General. Started Arimidex 5 weeks ago. Would be nice to “talk” to any other local ladies who need a bit of support and cheering up or have been on this journey.

Hi Laura Sue, I was dx Feb08 and finished my treatment (8 chemos, 20 rads and now tamoxifen) in October 08. I had my rads at Southampton and my chemo at Winchester.I too had a lumpectomy and SNB. I know Salisbury very well as went to school there and love going shopping there too. I live about 15 miles away from Salisbury towards Southampton. I know I am a bit further along than you in terms of treatment and dx but always open to meeting local ladies to lend support or just a chat.Feel free to PM me if you wish.

I was DX end June, had ops in WLE and SNB in July and reexcision in Aug.
I’ve done a bit of chemo (long story) am due to start Tamox asap and will be starting Rads 2nd Nov at Southampton, all being well with me odd body, an early morning slot each day. Might see you there and we can get a coffee and have a chat. I live in a Village, Andover side of Basingstoke, about 30 miles from you. I’m trying to get together to meet local ladies (including Rachy!) but had a few treatment problems so had to wait. Waiting for Docs, Onc and scan dates to come through then will know where I can be…

Hi Rachy and Katie lovely to meet you. I am five miles the Southampton side of Salisbury so we are not that far apart Rachy. Katie, I start rads on 3 November at Southampton my appt times are around noonish. how about you?
