I’m in Coventry…did you get any responses to this? I’d like to meet people in the same situation as me. I went to a ‘Look Good, Feel Great’ pamper session which while lovely, was hard being around people without the same diagnosis. They were busy comparing notes and it made me want to run out of there in tears.

I’m in Coventry and go to Cov & Warwk Uni Hospital. Do you know Shelia Differ? She is the Lymphadema nurse but she has also been asked to take on Secondary Cancer care patients at their early stages. She is looking to set up a support group in the new year, if it’s what people want.
I’ve resently been diagnosed with secondaries in the lungs and finding it hard to come to terms with, so I think it would be great to get a people with secondaries together and help Shelia get the support group going.
There is a support group set up in Birmingham for the 1st Monday of each month, but I’m still looking to find out where this is.
Are you going to the Haven meeting at the Welcomes Centre next week? Just thinking if you were we could chat more then.
