I’m recently diagnosed and feeling all the emotions that everyone has I think. Good days, bad days and some inbetween! Nights are the worse, 5am seems awfully dark sometimes. Have had a WLE and sentinel node removal and now have 3 weeks to wait for the result. Would love to meet up with others going through this, for support and for a laugh or two.

I’d love to meet up for a coffee but at the moment I’m recovering from a 10 day stay in Kettering Hospital for loss of blood supply to my bowel. It’s been a really bad 6 months! I’m going to Glenfield on Thursday to get the result of my last WLE in April. The first one didn’t get a clear margin but no nodes involved. God help me, the oncology dept at LRI is the most depressing place I’ve ever been to and so overcrowded. My onc was awful too. Wish I didn’t have to have my rads there but no alternative I think. Have had two ops in Glenfield and they were great. I’ll get back in touch shortly. Love Francine x
