would be lovely to get together with local ladies to talk it all through - although Ive been through the worst (I hope) and have recently been cleared but the nightmare of it reoccurring worries me - and the last year has been hellish. but no one local to me to meet and talk to - which would have been so fabulous last year.

I’d love to meet up with you but won’t be able to until after Christmas as I’m about to start radiotherapy in Brighton and will be staying down there with my family.
If you decide to meet up again in the new year I would really love to join you. If that’s okay would appreciate one of you sending me a PM about any meeting up arranged. I have felt quite isolated as I don’t know anyone who has had breast cancer.

I am having nipple recon on Monday up at East Grinsted with Charles Nduka ( having seen Mr Bonomi at Worthing who dod the mastectomy)… so once that heals a bit I would love to meet up locally. its such a shame there wasnt anyone local to me last year when I was diagnosed , but would still be keen to meet anyone local now, even though the worst is over for me ( i hope / think )

As some of you are in Worthing we could perhaps meet in Arundel, what do others think? Can anyone else make Dec 4th? What time is best afternoon or evening?
Elinda45 I will pm you with any details and please pm me if you would like to. Keep in touch while you are in Brighton, but so much easier to say over there than travel everyday, the A27 can be a nightmare can’t it. Hope all goes well for you.

I would love to try 4th in Arundel!!
I am due to have nipple recon on Monday but have come down with a cold so not sure what the situ will be. If I dont go into hospital I will have to go back to work and wont be able to make it … other wise, if they do operate I should be good for 4th xx
Awww what a shame 4th is the day I cant make.
Are there any other dates that any of you can suggest? If Judyw47 can’t make the 4th perhaps there is another day we can all make.
I am fairly flexible at the moment. It really would be good to meet up, and I will keep 4th free in case.

I WAS in East Grinsted ( Queen Vic) for about half an hour until they decided my cold was too bad to operate on me. Back to work tomorrow then with a wait for another appointment. Quite frustrating, but also means it will be tricky for me to meet up as I am single mum with full time job… Shame…

So sorry they wouldn’t do the op, the waiting around for appointments is a pain isn’t it.
