Hi Mell

I had 15mm grade 3 with 1 lymph node, but not hormone receptive. I’m also on 3xfec and 3xtax followed by 6 weeks of rads.

I’m 30… I am worried about secondaries and life expectancy etc, but am also scared to ask in case I don’t like what I hear. You are brave to shave your hair off, I’m doing the same thing as soon as I start chemo on the 31st Jan.

Keep positive is all I can say.

Take it easy

hi mell,
i was 36 when diagnosed in june with grade 3 invasive ductal cancer, and spread to my lymph nodes, i had 8 lots of chemo and have just had surgery , the chemo did a great job and shrunk my tumour to nothing . I get my results tomorrow from the tissue they removed at my op, i start 20 sessions of rads in january, i am also HER 2+
T have got much more positive as time has gone on, i was going to find out my prognosis and decided it against it !! the best way i am coping is by focusing on what i want to do next year, and stay as positive as possible, i went through a really low patch coming towards end of chemo and spent most days planning my funeral !! but that is not going to get me anywhere !! my doctor told me the girls that get on with their lives are the ones that do well so thats what i try to think about, my hair started growing back a couple of weeks after my last chemo and is now about a 1/2 inch its really funny it looks like fluff and its grey!!!
The sun is shining on the other side of that hill and you will see it soon, you are doing great
love galen xx
