Lisa- so sorry about the lymphodoema-it is one of my major worries. Hope all goes well and it is not too bad for you to cope with.

Pauline-what a shame I can’t get sky.Any info we can get is worth watching.
I’m day 5 after 3rd chemo and have been ok. Worse days for me have been 6 and 7,unfortunately coincides with going back to work.I think it is coming off the steroids-I feel tired and quite befuddled!However am usually ok by day 8,so can’t complain too much eh.

thanks for the lovely comments about my ‘silly’ photo. as you can tell i do have a really warped sence of humour and it has helped me get through loosing my boob and now the hair… I get fed up crying about it and end up making the best of a bad job…so watch out as there maybe be more silly photos to come as ive asked my neices to send me there silly head things… gonna answer the door one day like it when i can pluck up the courage ha ha
I also worry about the lymphodema thing to,but so far so good, along with infection during ‘low’ week… We get anti-biotics automaticaly given to us to take on day 7 for 7 days from the hospital does anyone get these too…
Sorry you didnt get to see the air show Debbie…and think you were wise about the pirate ship too unless you had fantastic tape lol
Tut i dont have sky either…should have put it on other channel really especially for us hey…
Annie did you find 3rd same or worse than 2nd as my 3rd is looming again next week…

i to worry about getting a infection, find myself spaying everything with dettol spray, sally no i dont get antibiotics but i think pauline does, it seems hospitals do things so diffrent,

Hi Ladies all the best for everyone having chemo this week im having another in bed day but hope to have energy to do more tomorro .
Julie Im on my 5th chemo and only one left so six in total I do have to also have full course of radio but not asked yet how long it is over as it falls in school hols and have been told I have to go every day except weekend so holidays out the window … Will have to make up for it next year …
Rosie …Im prob not the best to ask about booster injections because they made me more ill than chemo I have now stopped taking them not had them for last 2 sessions bloods have dropped to 0.5 which is really low but Ive been extra careful where I go and visiters and so far so good .
Pauline which Id of seen that last night not sure if it will be repeated but like as much info and understanding as pos lol think second part is on tonight try to catch that one …

Had a few days resting as now on day 6 after 3rd fec. Still feel a bit washed out but that will get better over the week. I am also a bit paranoid about picking up bugs. I tend to stay at home for the most vunerable days.
Mumzsy, pleased you had a good time with your man, hope your packing goes ok and not to tireing.

Julie, I’m not suprised you didn’t get to the air show. The traffic was manic. I live near there. The noise of the planes got on my nerves a bit as i was in bed most of the weekend. Did see the red arrows though.

Dont know it I told you this before but i got “Comfy Grip Therapeutic Wig band” from zacman555 on ebay from america. It arrived in one week and is fab. Stops wig coming off , allows air to circulate underneath and keeps you cool. It costs 30 including p+p and is great. Google it you might find it somewhere else but that was the cheapest I found, Theres an english company that stocks it but they charge £41 and they are out of stock anyway!! Its sort of silicone gel and is great, difficult to describe but worth it !
2nd FEC on Thursday and dreading it as I feel normal noe so long as I dont look in the mirror!!!

Hi Sally- my 3rd FEC was much the same pattern as 2nd.I am trying to be 'normal’so not worrying too much about infections. Not sure about the week of antibiotics-as you say all these hospitals and doctors have such different ideas.
Hi Marion- managing to work three days a week. Came home today feeling pretty washed out but had a sit down and feel ok now.We are all so different and maybe I’m one of the lucky ones.Saying that the idea of not working is quite appealling!Luckily my job lends itself to sitting down and talking to residents a lot and they are so worried about me they are always telling me to sit down!

Mumzsy, I have bought one of those comfy grips. It came really quick in fact i ordered some craft stuff the same day and that has still not come and thats from the uk. just shows you how bad poor post is. Will try it tomorrow as I have hairdresser comming to style wig no 2.

Well its now day 13 of 2nd fec and ive noticed today that my eyebrows are going now,feel abit pi**ed off but its an excuse to get the kids face painting stuff out LOL… i shaved under my arms 2 weeks ago and they are still bare so thats good,I dont mind that, down below is pretty bald now too, dont mind that either really saves on waxing…But the stubborn buggers on my legs are gripping on for dear life… why cant they go and leave my eyebrows alone LOL…
Still feel abit tired today but not stopping me do anything so i can cope with that…
OH i get my new boob today atlast its taken 2 weeks to come as it had to be orderd, was impressend at how many different kinds of fake boobs there are all different shapes and sizes…i’l be sad to get rid of my cushion one… its become a dear friend of mine now but now i’l have one that looks and feels like a real one…Yee Ha

Well had 2nd fec yesterday and feel pretty grotty today, oh well keep taking the tablets and nibble on the ginger nuts!
Never got to see hairdresser yeasterday as had abit of trouble with timings and chemo. Phone hadn’t got put back properly and didn’t get call to come back ,then veins were a problem!
So scissors and clippers late to get rid of last wisps!
God, I hate all this!!
