Hi,

Not sure what you want advice about but if you are going to the Churchill unit you could not be in a better place.

churchill unit is really good have just been diagnosed with bc have had 3x fec couldnt take anymore so oncologist decided to do the mastectomy when the results of the op came was told taht they found cancer in 9 out of 10 lymph nodes and it was grade 3 am really scareed he wants me to have more chemo i was really ill with it last time i dont know what to do i have four children and think i have to take the chemo for their sake but then its them that are losing out while i take it the chemo makes me feel really ill emotionally and physically i am really scared i jus think theyve removed the breast n the cancer so why go through wid chemo now

Hi,

You need to discuss this with your breast care nurse. She will have time to explain why you need the chemo. Perhaps you will be given a different kind rather than Fec. Some chemo is worse than others and it may be that you can cope better with a different one.

You can phone the helpline on this site and discuss your fears. 08088006000

Good luck.
