Had my expander implant put in back in August but as my results weren’t as good as we hoped them to be I never had it inflated until last month when my treatment had ended. Trouble was that the implant had deflated by the time I returned for an appointment 2 weeks later.
I’ve now had it inflated again & they will check it after a week. Trouble is I can recall that it only really started to show visably after a week last time. I’ve been offered an op in July if it is leaking and I do really want the op but now worried that its not going to go down enough by a week when they check it. Sorry don’t think I’ve explained this too well. Anyone else had this?

I was beginning to wonder if this had happened to me. I went for my first 80ml a week ago and the skin felt really stretched and the boob seemed harder and massive! But looking at it today, it sees to be the same as it was before. I was thinking it must be my imagination, but now I’m not so sure. I’m not due to go back for another 3 weeks, but it will have been a waste of time if it has leaked.
Been back today and mine is leaking. Now booked in to have LD op at end of June which I’m pleased about. I understand how you felt about it may have been a waste of time, I did to, but as the surgeon pointed out to me, the expander has worked by stretching my skin so now I only need to take the muscle from my back now.
