Just had my appointment cancelled on the day of my biopsy results as they are " not ready yet."
Can anyone share experience of waiting times. Clinic can’t seem to tell me when they might be ready. My initial appointment was 11 days ago…
Oh that’s awful for you! I went through two rounds of biopsies as they weren’t convinced with the first results. Waited 11 days for the first one but 15 days for the second as they weren’t ready at the first MDT meeting which only happens on a Monday and my clinic is on a Thursday. Did they explain what day they discuss findings? That may give you an better indication to when you will get your clinic appointment. Big hugs as I know the waiting is awful!! Love Kay xx
I had the same…they rang and cancelled as weren’t ready…I literally cried on the phone to the surgeons secretary. Mine were 10 days eventually, but there were delays due to it being over Easter. From what I’ve observed on the forum, it seems to vary from 5 day to about 2 weeks?! Delays could simply be because they are overloaded with work at the hospital lab, so try not to read negatives into the delay. EAsy to say I know, because I felt guttural pain in my delay. Xx
