How did you get on today?

When I went for the result of my biopsy, the doctor asked if I wanted the consultation recorded in case all the details were forgotten. My husband came with me but he didn’t remember much.

Had lots of mammograms and doctor seemed confident it wasn’t a breast lump but something attached to the skin that would eventually go away and nothing to worry about. So relieved. Thank you for all the support x

I’m so sorry….ive just read this. I would’ve come to Glasgow with you. I know you don’t know me but we’re all in the kinda same boat on here so I’m sure we would’ve had lots in common. At least you would’ve had someone with you. Soz. But glad to hear it went ok. Xx

Hello and firstly sending you lots of positivity and strength- like others I would try and have someone with you if for no other reason to listen as my experience was I was not really listening as my emotions were running wild. Have you heard of the OWise app - it’s really helpful to note down your questions and record any notes etc - if I was nearer I’d offer but don’t be afraid to ask family and or friends - take care

I told family & friends from the beginning & updated them stage by stage rather than wait to hit them with a big shock. As a consequence I had the benefit of their support from the start.

@clarahippy I take always someone for my appts. It does help emotionally but also as they record consultations as it’s so easy to forget what was said. Xx
