ARIMIDEX - dr wants to stop it as I am at the 5 year mark

My question…  yesterday my onc told me that she would be taking me off of the Arimidex when I see her in January 2018.  She is a new onc for me.  My first visit with her was Oct last year.  My former onc told me that adding another year and a half to the Arimidex is best and proved successful. When my current onc told me that 5 years was enough and that there wasn’t enough proof being on it longer was beneficial I was surprised.  So, my question…  is 5 years enough?  I admit I got home and panicked at the thought of not having the Arimidex any longer.  By not taking it will I be taking away the only reason my cancer is at bay?  I know I am sure I am not the only one to panic and I should ask my dr these questions…   If someone can give me some advise or info I would be grateful.  Thank you - Lisa.
