I am 2.5 years post mastectomy and 1 year post diep recon. Recently I’ve started to feel more fullness under my arm and stiffness in the armpit and along the front and inside of my shoulder. The area under my shoulder at the back feels flabby/puffy and bigger than the matching area on the other side. I must admit I don’t really do my exercises anymore except when my arm gets too stiff.
Anyone else had this so long after surgery? Is it anything to worry about? Should I still be doing my exercises daily?

It could be lymphoedema. I developed it about 9-12 months after my recon. I suggest you see your bcn to get it checked out or go to your lymphoedema clinic, if you can get in, asap. In the meantime, it can’t hurt to take it easy with that arm as regards lifting, ironing, hoovering, etc, whilst not immobilising it altogether.
