Mm only just seen this thread but how interesting is this, am on for surgery next Thurs not sure about showing flesh until I have seen it, the results of the surgery that is, but have some art projects going with my art psychotherapist. Count me in please. Jackie

If you want to draw a sketch or write a poem, that will be enough, just think about your cancer, your experince and how it makes you feel as a woman, it can be sad,happy, positive or all those things. I dont want this project to scare people but I want it to be honest and reflective of the strength women find to keep going, and stay beautiful throughout their cancer experience.
What a fantastic Idea.
I sketch, paint and Sculpt fantasy figures.
I have found it very therapeutic throughout my cancer journey.
I think it is time I did embrace my feelings in my Art.

I am thinking may be of knitting some boobs, but would need some no longer used softies to knit around.

id be interested too… i dont mind showing my bit of flesh… also have done some paintings since i was diagnosed and discovered my hidden artistic talent… mainly water colours and pastels but willing to give anything a bash… even did some plasticine roses at the expressive art therapy group i went to run by maggies.

I would like to be involved. I’ve used visua;l journalling to deal with my diagnosis surgery etc. Am now 18 months post treatment and feeling comfortable with my scar. Will send my email address if I can work out how to do it.
