Hi. I found a lump and attended the breast clinivlc yesterday. I had 3 biopsies and one in the axilary. Is this the lymph nodes. I am worried abput needing 3 biopsies. The nurses and doctor’s face were not possitive. They looked as if they were giving me condolences. I am on HRT and progesterone only contaceptive pill.
This morning I received a call for an urgent blood test and CT scan. I am petrified they know it is cancer and they looking mets?

Welcome to the forum, we are here to support you. So sorry to read your post, quite understandable you are feeling very anxious at the moment.
Some ladies have a long wait for test, scan etc, so pleased to hear they are getting all the information needed quick, this will enable a plan to get in place for further treatments.
Take one day at a time, all very easier for me so say when your feeling so concerned, be kind to yourself. Don’t be afraid to speak with your breast cancer nurse, she will be there for you and has access to your medical note.

Welcome to the forum. You have been given some great advice from @Tili . When I found a lump in April 2023 and had lots of tests and then called back to clinic to have more tests. As has already been said they are doing a thorough check to ensure you have the most appropriate treatment, if needed.
We all know it’s hard not to worry and the waiting for test and results is always the most anxious time.
