avoided and ignored?

Hi, 

is any one else having the ‘cross the street when you see me’ syndrome? I was diagnosed, had surgery all in December and word has obviously got out because people who are normally perfectly nice and chatty are now pretending that they haven’t seen me and are changing their direction to avoid me. I guess it’s because I have ‘the big C’ rather than I have bad B.O. 

Is this happening to anyone else?

Hi, yes one of my closest friends hasn’t been in touch since my op in July 2013.  She only lives 10 doors away so it’s not as though she can’t get to me either.  Very upsetting and sad when you need people the most x
