Hi everyone, I hope this messages reaches all the lovely ladies who messaged me with words of support for my op today . There were so many of you wonderful people it would take me all night to message individually but plan to do that in the next couple of days .

Just wanted to let you know op is done and I’m back at home :smiley:.

It’s been a long day , got to hospital at 7am and didn’t go for op until 4.30 , typically Mrs Major Stresser here was last to go down.!

Thanks to you guys I managed to stay calm all day ( little wobble when they came to get me for theater but nothing major ) and one minute the anaesthetist was giving me magic milk and talking about magic mushrooms and the next I was waking up and it was done!

I just wanted to say a HUGE thankyou to you all and I will message individually over the next couple of days .. Your support , advice & reassurance certainly helped me cope today so THANKYOU all again so so much ,you were there when I needed you and ill never forget your kindness :heart:

Am going to try and get some sleep now , much love and thanks to you all xxxx

@butterflywing Well done for getting this far with your treatment,. Wishing you well, take one day at a time at the moment. A little walk each day, good food, lots of well deserved treats.

So glad it went well for you my love. Oooph! 4.30pm before you went down. Wow, that was a bit of a wait.

Was definitely a long day but by the time I went down my only worry was if I could still go home or not ! :woman_facepalming::grin:

Am glad that bit is over and life can return to normal for a while .

Results in 3- 4 weeks

For now onwards and upwards ( hopefully ! ) xxx

So super proud of you and when you look back you will realise how amazing you are and what a gift you have given yourself despite your wobbles.
It takes immense courage to ask for and reach for help and I am honoured to know you and your strength in doing so.
