Back to Work - 2
Back to Work - 2 …well I made the big decision and decided not to return to my old workplace (toxic environment) - took the money and ran - and secured other employment. Really difficult transition, but going really well… however…On Friday we were told that our application for further funding has been turned down. which means all our jobs on the line.
I confess I feel I am now a wee bit too old to accommodate any more change that I didn’t initiate (52 on Monday). Not as flexible or resillient as I once was. Totally fed up
Celeste - and now going to bed, having just picked my daughter up from a concert in the middle of the night! Am I a taxi driver (there’s an idea!)
Taxi! Tough luck Celeste, but you did absolutely the right thing in leaving your previous job. Anyone who has the strength of character to do that is going to find something else.
Go for it - and Good Luck. Can understand why you’re p****d off though.
