Did anyone else see this article yesterday? It says that 40% of cancers change form when spread to the lymph nodes. It doesn’t say whether that is also the case for spread elsewhere. The article was published in Annals of Oncology. I haven’t looked to see if it is online. Anyway, this was the BBC article I read:-

Hi, thanks for that, i find that very interesting. I am triple negative and my oncologist did say they would be retesting that once the tumour is removed.

I think it means that the bc in the nodes can be different. They need to test that, too.

yes, thats how i read it, i will be making sure that they test them too. Although you would think that they would anyway?
