bc mates in Milton Keynes area

Hi

I’d really like to try and find some bc mates in the MK area. I’m 44 and was diagnosed with bc in July this year. Currently undergoing chemotherapy prior to surgery. I’m pretty much on my own down here, most my family/friends are in the Midlands and the North East… wondered if anyone could do with another friend?

hi. I had BC 2 and a half years ago I am about 15 miles out of milton keynes but work in Milton Keynes I am 53 if you feel you would like a bit more chat here i am. x x

Hi Kay W
Just wanted to offer my support to you and to let you know that there is a support group in Leighton Linslade. It could be that there are leaflets at your DRS surgery whch will give the details. I only know because I met a lady at a Look Good Feel Better session at Luton and Dunstable Hosipital.

Best Wishes to you. LooLoo x

I live in Leighton Buzzard and I have breast cancer. I am undergoing Chemo at present and I am looking for an upbeat support group.
Also interested in the Look Good Feel Good aspect.

Are there meetings out there? If so where and when?

Sally

Hallo Nessie,
I also live in Milton Keynes. There is a breast cancer support group in the city called Bosom Pals.
They have monthly meetings on the 1st Tuesday of the month at the Shenley Church End Meeting Place from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
I personally haven’t been to a meeting there yet but may do so once I can drive again.
Their website is bosompalsmk.org.uk.
Hope this is of some help!
Wendy
