I just wanted to say that here in Southampton it has been a lovely morning. The sun is shining, birds are singing, daffs and crocus ,camelia and rhodedendrons flowering. I even did a load of housework as I had a lot of energy. Probably pay for it tomorrow but who cares.I am happy to be alive. Hugs to everyone and I hope you all have days that make you feel as good as I do today, it makes up for all the not so good days.

Hi Marion,
Its true, the sun shining makes all the difference to your mood.
I felt the same yesterday in the sun. It seems to give you more energy somehow. I felt like heading for the nearest travel agent and booking a holiday! Unfortunately, today is dull and overcast.
Roll on summer.
Best wishes,

Hi Marion
Thanks for that … it is a beautiful day in Essex too, and I am happy to be alive too… I love life and want to enjoy it … and the simple things in life are alway the best. Take care.

It’s raining here in Bristol today but I have a smile that would lighten up the dullest day as I have just come from seeing my consultant and have been told that after 16 months of treatment including chemo, mastectomy and reconstruction I am finally all clear to just get on with living my life with just follow ups by him and oncologist alternate 6 months - this day seemed to be at the end of a very long tunnel but hey i’m here and glad to be with so many of you fellow suvivors - thanks for being there.
I just cant believe that spring is here and so am I !! This time last year I had just been dx and was awaiting surgery. I thought it was the end, I thought Id never see Xmas and certainly never thought Id still be here in spring a year later. I am now NED and on hormone treatments but I am so happy to still be here watching my young kids grow up. I hope I continue to see a lot more springs…
I too like Lolly was diagnosed exactly a year ago tomorrow…I never thought I would see Xmas too. Treatment finished last Sept as I am triple negative…NED too but still very wary and obsessed with checking!
