Being a gene carrier – Information and support sessions

Have you been confirmed as having inherited altered gene that increases your risk of breast cancer? Our new Being a gene carrier service combines information from experts with a chance to meet others in a similar situation.

The series of three events will be held in central London, all taking place on Saturday mornings between 10am and 1pm. The sessions will start with a talk from an expert speaker, with plenty of time for questions, followed by an opportunity to discuss what you have heard with the rest of the group.

The topics covered are:

  • Risk reducing surgery – 16 January 2016
  • Talking to children and family – 6 February 2016
  • BRCA related cancer – 5 March 2016
