Went to see oncologist on Thursday to list my 1st FEC side affects, well he is upping my anti sickness so hopefully not so sick next time. Well round two tomorrow if bloods ok, have to have bloods done on Friday as they can’t do it at weekend so apparently there is a good chance bloods will not be ok and will have to check again on Monday. Now after interrogating my oncologist about supplements, which he does not allow as may interfere with chemo, I begged there must be something I can take to help me and yes he suggested Beta Glucan, has anybody tried this and if so where did you get it from? It is meant to boost white blood cells. Let me know, if not I will do search on net and let you know what I find.
Also just to let you know I have been using scarf hut for bandanas etc. They are really good, cheap, only £2 postage and have always received next day and she has always thrown in a freeby, and I do love a freeby. Hair coming out in handfuls so husband shave it to number 3 and he actually likes it. I think he is so sexually deprived at the moment he would find anything attractive, I mean I have one breast and a dodgy number 3 with bald bits, its not a good look but I am flattered he still finds me attractive.
Dreading FEC tomorrow as know whats to come, but I am ready this time with ginger biscuits, energy drinks and good films to watch oh lots of child care.
