Big lump

First of all, hello ! My name is Lisa and I am 27.

I first noticed a change last November, an indent under my right breast when I raise my arm, I mentioned it to the GP in January to which he replied " I am not concerned about that at the minute"

I became obsessed with checking and feeling and finally found a lump… I went back to see the GP today who felt and confirmed there is one and is referring me to the breast clinic.
What I felt was a small hard " thing "but after watching him write it in to my notes and loction " soft lump ( fancy medical term ) nipple. I have felt around more and there is quite a large lump in the nipple area and have grown more concerned.

Early last year I had a rash on that breast that lasted around 3 days and 1 random nipple discharge.

Starting to feel if there is something wrong that I have left it far too long…

Hi LB,the vast majority of breast lumps are not breast cancer and most referrals to the breast clinic turn out to be nothing sinister. If you have read of some of the other threads in this section you will see lots of women reporting back that other begnign conditions have been diagnosed .You should be seen at the clinic within 2 weeks and they can usually tell you on the day whether it is anything to be concerned about .Keeping everything crossed you get good news.Let us know how you get on.Jill.

Appointment came through this morning for the 19th. Seems so far away…

Yes waiting when you are so anxious is the pits.
