Hi everyone
I had an oopherectomy on monday. Was at the hospital at 7.30 am in theatre at 11 am. The doctor wanted me to stay the night but I signed myself out and went home as the ward was so noisey!!I have never had lymphoedema but now my left hand and arm are swollen with fluid. Am not feeling too bad now was tired for the first few days and slept alot. Have been told I can not drive for between 2 and 4 weeks. Stiches out tomorrow morning and then in the afternoon I have my first CBT session to help the depression and the anorexia.

Hello hmmm what is the surgery? Shame it was so noisy for you did you have drains? You have a lot going on for you and this sucks lets face it, Just take the support with open arms and good luck XxHugSXx

The surgery was having my ovaries removed as that is the best way of stopping an very oestrogen sensative cancer returning.
Sorry I am from a medical background so tend to use medical terminology
