Afternoon All,
I went for a check up last week as my left boob looked a little puckered. I was sent to the Breast Clinic just to be sure. The Dr felt around and couldn’t feel anything but sent me for a mammogram whilst I was there just as routine. They found a lump deep in my right breast and I was sent for an ultrasound immediately. The ultrasound showed the lump and whilst I was on the bed they did a couple of biopsies there and then. The lovely Dr said she thinks it is just Fibroadenoma but it sending it off for tests to be sure.
Is it quite common that it is just Fibroadenoma and not cancer?
I have an ache in my right boob, armpit and shoulder constantly. I wonder if it is just sitting on a nerve?
I have a phone call appointment for test results booked in for two weeks from date of biopsy.
I am hoping that because it’s a call and not face to face that it means it is ok?
Thanks in advance.
Bear
