I bloated quite badly during chemo, I put on a lot of weight too, despite being on the slimmer side of BMI at the start. Possibly for me it was because I was not used to taking in a lot of liquids and chemo made me drink like a rabid dog! (and eat, lots!).
Nothing wrong with mentioning it to your chemo ward the next time you are in, they do like to keep track of SE’s.

Hi ladies, my stomach is really bloated, I look pregnant (wish I was) lol. I have mets in my liver bones and omental layer. Think it ascites and it will need draining off, but there has to be so much before they can do it. It’s really uncomfortable. It’s either from the omental layer or could be my liver cause it was inflamed so they put me on a 3 week course of steroids, which were horrible, made me really depressed and crying all the time. Couldn’t stop eating, which is probably a good thing cause I keep going off my food. See my onc tomorrow so will mention it again, I should also get scan results hopefully. Good luck ladies.xx
