blood transfusion

hi everyone,

been told today i need to go back to hospital tomorrow for a blood transfusion,

i need to have 2 units, is this the norm and does anyone know how long it takes before you feel any better?

My Mum had 2 units last Tuesday and noticed a huge difference within 24 hours !

I had 2 units too. It took about 4 hrs to do the transfusion and I started to feel better as I walked home after! I was told you should feel better within 48 hrs.
