I have had discharge from both breast for 18 years & no one can tell me the reason for this.I also have mondors disease in my left breast. I had a screening mammogram at the beginning of the year which was clear. Then a few weeks ago when doing my monthly checks I squeezed my left nipple & the discharge in one area was blood. I have had an ultrasound this week that has shown an enlarged milk duct. They have taken samples of the bloody discharge and have told me they are looking for cancer and it will be next week before I get the result. I was told that the oncolgist radiographer & consultant will have a meeting before I see them next week & they will decide what treatments they have planned, he also pointed out even if the tests come back as begnin they will probably need to remove the milk duct so that they can do further test. I have looked around the web sites and have only found information on none cancerous causes for bloody discharge so am feeling anxious as to why they think it is cancer
